Bone Blog Saturday, May 17th I got my
wheel chair today! Ok, so it's not a racing car or anything, but it
is still pretty swick! It was raining, but I still convinced my dad
to take me out to the park. It didn't go as fast outside as it did
in the living room. Probably the water slowed it down. About the
rain, isn't it supposed to be April showers bring May flowers, not
May flowers bring April showers? I wonder what David Attenborough's
notion is. Perhaps the plants are scheming to flood the earth.
( I don't think Sir. David is quite as
paranoid as that! - Mr. A.) Who knows? Thursday, May 15th Hi Mr.Allen,This is my BONE BLOG, because I have nothing else to do. BONE BLOG Screams of pain, loud and throbbing like my sisters voice twist and writhe like venomous serpents within in a behemoth foot, green and scaly. the foot is stern, and unmovable, as stiff as if it was made of plastic (which I believe it is ). You may have guessed, the monstrous foot is my cast and it IS green and scaly. The surgery wasn't bad at all given that I had no idea it was even happening. To put me to sleep they had me laugh into what they called a "laughing mask". I didn't need the gases issuing from the mask to make me laugh. One of the nurses did that for me. She had a high voice and talked to me like I was three! "Now it's time for the tickle mask. Oh no not the tickle mask!" Her voice alone was enough to make me laugh. when I laughed, she did to. "Ha, ha, ha,ha! Oh that darn tickle mask!" The last thing heard before I fell unconscious was the puerile giggling of that nurse, whatever her name was. Maybe my sister vomiting last night was a bad omen. The doctors gave me this numbing medicine that was SUPPOSED to make from my knee down to my foot numb for ten or so hours. I doubt it made me numb for one minute! The doctors were not quite able to get the idea that the numbing medicine had failed, because they kept trying tests on me. They tapped my toes to see if I could feel them. I could. they put a cold cloth on my leg and asked me if it was cold when they put it on my toes. It was. They tapped me on the toes to see if I could feel their fingers. And guess what, I could! They even did the finger thing again this morning! Since the numbing medicine didn't work, they had to give me all these other medicines to kill the pain. The problem was that one of the medicines made me really nauseous. I spent the whole night vomiting and being awakened by the nurses to give me some more medicine and take my blood pressure and stuff. Mostly I threw up this really disgusting Popsicle that apparently turned my lips blue. My sisters came to visit me in the hospital, and Tamar had a nightmare about me having blue lips. Ha, ha, LOL! Crutches are totally swick! The wheel chair is pretty swick too. I don't want my blog to turn into and AMERICAN IDOL blog, but I just wanted to say I can't believe Syesha is out! Bye for now, Ilana
